President Donald Trump is campaigning for Republicans in Florida this Friday, CBS News reported in a video report. The network said the trip comes with "only a couple of days to go until the midterms."

According to CBS News, the report was prepared by correspondent Cristian Benavides, who has the details of the visit. The CBS News summary describes the event as a campaign effort on behalf of Republicans in Florida, a state the report's headline characterizes as deep red. The summary does not say which candidates or races Trump will support.

CBS News also framed the appearance around the question of why Trump is campaigning in the state, but its summary does not spell out an answer. The summary does not name specific locations, give any timing beyond "this Friday," or describe any remarks Trump is expected to make.

The account of the visit in this story rests on a single CBS News report, a video piece with a brief written summary. No other outlet's reporting on the trip was among the materials used to prepare this story, so details beyond those listed here are not available from this source.
